I said I would do two posts this week to make up for missing last week. This week turned out to be very busy and stressful after we got back home. So instead of coming up with something deep and interesting to write about, I’m going to share something deep and interesting that someone else wrote.
It surprises me how few people have heard of W. Somerset Maugham, but I first read Of Human Bondage when I was a junior in high school, and I loved it. I’ve often said that the only constant thing in life is change, but Maugham said it much better than I did. This quote is from The Razor’s Edge, published in 1944.
