Since moving to Arizona and starting my 365project back up, I’ve been taking a lot more bird photos. I have this book from 1966, and it can be quite helpful when I’m trying to identify a bird from a photo that I took, but it can also be frustrating even to figure out where to start. So when we came back from Mexico and I was trying to ID all the birds from lunch in San Carlos I went online, I found http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/search which was very helpful.

Then I discovered that they had a mobile app, and it has been the best thing that has happened to me. It has been so helpful when Les and I are out hiking and hasn’t failed me yet, so I thought I would share. Also here are some photos that the app has helped me with.
